Lunit to deploy AI software at Korean military hospitals

Under the terms of the deal with the Korean National IT Industry Promotion Agency, Lunit will deliver its Insight CXR software to more than 30 Korean military medical sites by the end of 2022. The software detects nine types of abnormalities via chest x-ray and aims to better detect critical lung diseases, including tuberculosis.
The deal is part of South Korea’s $27Â million armed forces medical system AI transformation project.
