Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented Sales Manager to join our client’s dynamic team. As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding the customer base for their nutraceutical ingredients across the United States. Your focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with clients, providing technical expertise, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and increase market share for botanicals and plant extracts.
  • Identify and engage potential customers in the health and wellness and food and beverage industries, including manufacturers, formulators, and distributors.
  • Foster strong relationships with both existing and new clients, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and technical expert, providing guidance and support to customers on the selection and application of nutraceutical ingredients.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and production, to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of products.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other relevant documentation to monitor sales performance and provide insights to the management team.
  • Continuously gather feedback from customers to drive product development and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the nutraceutical, food and beverage ingredients, or similar industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive for success and a genuine passion for the nutraceutical industry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, fostering strong relationships across cross-functional departments.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
